Background on Courses

In our ongoing interaction with Judges and Magistrates across the State of Florida, the National Safety Commission has identified the need for driving education courses that focus on specific and critical safe-driving topics. In response to this need and in conjunction with our publication of Florida's Official Driver's Handbook, the National Safety Commission has developed six specialized courses that provide Judges and Magistrates with targeted ala carte resources to address the driver re-education needs they face every day.

To create these "results-focused" courses, the National Safety Commission has turned to its expert advisors and drawn upon its time-proven educational techniques. The result is a suite of online courses that concentrate on specific topics and provide justice officials with new resources to produce a better educated and safer driver.
